ISACA OceaniaCACS Conference

The OceaniaCACS conference is the annual conference of ISACA within the Oceania region and was held in Canberra, Australia on the 11th and 12th September 2017.

For those unfamiliar with it, OceaniaCACS is more than a technology conference; it has a business focus. The conference addresses “risk to the business and the solutions that can be adopted within organisations facing the accelerating impact of technology driven change. The conference is well respected as a valuable and enjoyable networking opportunity bringing together not only ISACA members but others in senior governance, risk and assurance positions who are seeking to understand issues and find solutions in the area of technology risk and assurance. The attendees are often uniquely placed to influence strategic and purchasing decisions in respect to risk within organisations.”

Simon Roller delivered a presentation within the GOVERN stream of the conference, on Day 2 at 2.10pm.  His presentation “Maximising value and building trust in your digital supply chain” discussed:

  • strategies in mitigating risk in a multi vendor supplier network
  • integrating capability panels using skills management, and
  • latest trends in supplier management and service integration.
